Terms of Service

Service Description
GuardianMesh is decentralized relay infrastructure. GuardianMesh Inc. operates the canonical directory API, web surfaces, and seed guardian nodes. The network is designed to be operated by independent node operators who join voluntarily.
Node Operators
By running a GuardianMesh node, you agree to:
- Relay encrypted bundles in accordance with the protocol specification.
- Not attempt to decrypt, inspect, or modify bundle payloads in transit.
- Maintain the security of your node's Ed25519 identity key and operator token.
- Comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Developer Tools
A developer SDK is in development for building applications that interact with the GuardianMesh network. When released, SDK users will be responsible for their own applications and compliance with applicable regulations.
Credit System
Guardians earn credits by hosting relay nodes and forwarding messages. The company purchases these credits from guardians through periodic settlement (50% equal share, 50% proportional to relay volume, after a 20% platform fee). GuardianMesh Inc. reserves the right to adjust credit weights and settlement parameters.
Acceptable Use
The GuardianMesh network must not be used for:
- Distribution of illegal content under Canadian law
- Denial-of-service attacks against the network or its participants
- Circumventing protocol-level abuse controls (rate limits, deduplication, hop bounds)
Limitation of Liability
GuardianMesh infrastructure is provided "as is." GuardianMesh Inc. makes no warranties regarding uptime, delivery guarantees, or fitness for any particular purpose. The decentralized nature of the network means delivery depends on node availability and network conditions.
